Of course is half term so the rain has decided to pay us a visit! So what an earth can you do when its raining with the kids!!
Don't worry - we can help!
First things first....
We are huge fans of just getting on with it, often its less of a case of the wrong weather and more of a case of the incorrect clothing. So if its not torrential our advice would be to keep calm and carry on, wellies, waterproofs and you are good to go.
Whats going on indoors this week?
Specifically for Summer there is:
Arts and crafts at Hertford Museum
Reading challenge at the Library- much under rated- buts its free, air conned and the staff are lovely and of course indoors!
The My Pet Pals workshops are indoors and FREE (prebook)
Southern Maltings also have a range of workshops on this week.
Wonderden have an action packed summer of activities planned too.
Why not catch a show or see a film at BEAM with a wide range of offerings!
Book a craft session at ART Shed Arts!
Cineworld is also offering selected movies for £1
The World of Martin Brown: Horrible Histories and Other Dazzling Drawings
And of course there is also
Our things to do page has hundreds of local things to do and the filter button enables you to filter things to do inside only.https://www.mumsguideto.co.uk/hertford/things-to-do.php
Of course there is soft play, trampoline parks and so on: https://www.mumsguideto.co.uk/hertford/things-to-do.php?subcatname=Indoor-soft-play&subcatid=49
And many of the local museums are inside: https://www.mumsguideto.co.uk/hertford/things-to-do.php?subcatname=Museums-and-places-of-interest&subcatid=1
Or how about some indoor mini golf? https://www.mumsguideto.co.uk/hertford/listing.php?listingid=136&subcatid=&name=Mr-Mulligans-Lost-World-Golf&function=keywordsearch&keywords=golf&
Personally we are still keeping our fingers crossed that the weather may pick up but we hope the above helps the week seem less daunting if we are in for a soggy spell.
