Rothamsted Park will be home to Harpenden's first Skate Jam event this Summer - skateboarders, artists, and anyone who wants to get involved are all welcome! It's a family friendly event and we would love to see as many of Harpenden's young people as possible.

This is a chance for skateboarders to demo their skills and spectators to enjoy watching the action. Let us know you're coming to demonstrate by registering to perform on the Town Council website.

If you're interested in graffiti style art, there'll be an opportunity to work on free standing graffiti boards or just enjoy the new Skatepark artwork designed by local artists Mark Tanti and Faye Sarron and their teams of Harpenden young people. You don't have to be an expert, just turn up and have a go!

A DJ and food vans will also be at the Skate jam, helping to make it a great event.
