2025 marks the 81st Anniversary of the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944, also known as D-Day. At the RAF Museum London, we will be marking the anniversary with a weekend long celebration of FREE music, dancing, children's activities and much, much more!
Join us on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June to kick off your summer with a fun musical programme at the museum!
The line up features returning favourites The Barn-ettes, Kitty Mazinsky, and the London Youth Concert Band, as well as new performers to the museum, Sean & Guy and many more! Full programme of performances to be announced soon!
Swing Dance UK are back this D-Day weekend to show you how to boogie-woogie like they did in the 1940s! This is a FREE drop-in activity so come on down and try your hand at some twists and twirls!
The Joystick Club are back with their pedal planes for D-Day weekend! Pedal around our Sunderland in one of 6 different pedal planes including a Spitfire, Hurricane, Typhoon, and many more! Recommended Age: 3-8 [Free, drop-in]
Come over to Hangars 345, in front of the Fighter 4 to join our reenactors take you through the stories of their adventures! Join us to learn all about how aircraft fought in the Second World War! Recommended Age: 4+
The D-Day Weekend's activities are aimed at children 3 to 12 but aviators of any age are more than welcome to attend!
