Approximately 20 minutes from the centre of St Albans, Luton Hoo Estate's Walled Garden is charming with or without children.
Throughout the year they run family friendly events such as the Spring open day (photos shown were taken at this event), guided walks amongst the bluebells, Open Farm Sunday and children's summer workshops. It's really, really lovely and run by over 100 volunteers.
Aside from their open days they are open on Wednesdays between May and September (10:30am - 4pm). £5pp and free for under 4s.
