Standing at the heart of Kings Langley, All Saints' Church offers visitors the chance to discover more than 800 years of local and royal history. The Grade II*-listed church has medieval origins, with its earliest surviving sections dating from the 13th century. Inside, look out for the historic tomb of Edmund of Langley, the first Duke of York and son of King Edward III.

Its central location makes the church an easy addition to a relaxed family visit to Kings Langley. Afterwards, take a stroll along the village High Street, where you will find a selection of independent shops, cafés and places to stop for lunch or a treat.

You could also combine your visit with a short drive to Langleybury Children's Farm. Children can meet and feed animals including goats, sheep, pigs, calves and donkeys, as well as enjoy play areas, a mini football pitch and a woodland nature trail with a zip wire. Families are welcome to bring a picnic, while drinks, snacks and ice creams are available from the farm shop.
