People are believed to have worshipped on the site for more than 1,000 years, with the original church traditionally dated to AD 948. Visitors can explore its history through a self-guided QR-code tour and discover features including beautiful stained-glass windows, a rose window and the impressive Mander pipe organ.
Outside, the peaceful Living Churchyard provides a green space for a gentle walk or quiet reflection, with a wildflower meadow, heritage apple orchard, Garden of Hope and areas that encourage wildlife. Families are warmly welcomed, with regular family-friendly services, children's activities and special events held throughout the year.
