Redbourn Play Areas
Redbourn has four play areas, each offering equipment for different ages and abilities.
East Common Play Area is suitable for children aged 0–12 and includes swings, a wide slide, climbing nets, monkey bars, a balance trail, a wooden play boat, and a toddler play unit. It also has an accessible swing.
Flamsteadbury Lane Play Area has separate baby/toddler and junior zones, with swings, climbing frames, slides, rock-climbing features, springers and spinners. Outside the fenced play area, there is an outdoor gym for older teenagers and adults, as well as a large grassy space with a football goal.
Long Cutt Play Area offers climbing and balance equipment for children aged three and over, along with a rotating seesaw, springer, rocking horse, basket swing and regular swings. Older children can enjoy a dynamic play structure designed to test agility and strength. There are also goalposts and a basketball hoop outside the playground.
Silk Mill Play Area is a smaller playground designed for younger children. Its equipment includes cradle swings, a seesaw, a turtle rocker, a climber and a play structure with a bridge, tunnel and slide.
