The Sewciety School - St. Albans
Age: 7 - 16
The SewCiety School offers creative, hands-on sewing and fashion workshops for children and teenagers aged 7–16 in St Albans.
Our sessions teach students how to use a sewing machine confidently, understand fabrics and patterns, and create real, wearable garments. Classes are suitable for beginners through to more confident or intermediate students, including those interested in fashion, textiles, or building a creative portfolio for the future.
We run small, supportive group classes where students are encouraged to develop practical skills, creativity, confidence, and pride in what they make. Alongside sewing techniques, we also introduce elements of design thinking, garment finishing, and creative journaling.
Classes take place at St Paul's Church Hall, St Albans, with Saturday sessions and themed holiday workshops available throughout the year. All equipment and materials are provided.
Introductory trial sessions are available for new students.
