Wheathampstead Heritage Trails
The Wheathampstead Heritage Trails aim to highlight the amazing local history of this district and encourage people to get out there and enjoy it.
All the walks start at the free car park in the centre of Wheathampstead and pass several places where food and drinks can be found.
There is one Village Centre walk and six walks in the local countryside. They range in distance from 1.5km to 13km. You can find the routes and maps on the website http://www.wheathampsteadheritage.org.uk/ . Free printed leaflets showing the routes and maps are available from the telephone box in the High Street and the restored station platform at the northern end of the village by the roundabout.
