Baked Nation is an artisan bakery located in the city of Saint Albans. Our products are made with the highest quality ingredients giving a natural and and healthy lifestyle. We sell a variety of daily artisan breads and our specialty: Sour Dough. We also sell a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and dessert breads. bean CENTRAL is possibly the smallest coffee shop in St Albans, located on a small strip of shops in Central Drive which serve the local community, residential streets and schools.​ We serve our own label, great quality take away coffee which we have blended and selected ourselves, it's then roasted locally so that we can offer you fresh, great tasting coffee. We also sell locally produced, homemade cakes and granola, soft drinks, tea and our own premium hot chocolate and if you fancy some people watching, we even have an outside table and chairs.

Situated within the historic Verulamium Park just a short walk from the town centre and the Roman Verulamium Museum and car park. The café overlooks the beautiful surroundings of a 100 acres of parkland where there are many amenities including a children's playground, children's splash pool (summer only), trampolines, crazy golf, the Adizone outdoor gym, basketball court and a lake which attracts a wide variety of wildlife. The cafe is child & dog friendly and has disabled access and facilities.
