Noise Makers is an award-winning fun, interactive singing, music and movement classes for babies and toddlers. Our Hertfordshire based classes include singing, movement, instruments, scarves, a parachute, bubbles and fun. Run by Elise, Nicola and their side-kick Norman, the noisiest of all the Noise Makers, classes are designed to be engaging, interactive and fun!

The playgroup has loads of mechanical Thomas trains which go around a track, and inside the track is a large Paw Patrol and Happyland town.

SaturDads is a welcoming monthly group for male parents and carers and their 0-5s. We meet on the 4th Saturday of the month (except in December!) from 9.45 to 11.15am.

You'll be greeted with a smile, a bacon roll (or cheese for you vegetarians!) and a hot cup of real coffee. Plenty of toys, puzzles books and cars are out for little ones, plus we sometimes play the rugby or football for... Read more

St Bart's Baby and Toddler group runs every Thursday morning in St Barts' hall between 11am-12.30pm. Babies and young children up to the age The parish baby and toddler group runs every Thursday morning in St Barts' hall between 11am-12.30pm. Babies and young children up to the age of 4 are welcome to join us. Our children can play with or alongside other children and can share in singing and story time. There is an extensive range of toys, puzzles and books for the children across the age range to enjoy. It is also an opportunity for parents and carers to chat together sharing experiences and advice over a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits. All involved in delivering the group are DBS certified. There is no charge but a small contribution towards refreshments' cost is appreciated.

Join us for a storytime session every Saturday in the Michael Chapel (East end of the Cathedral). 11- 11.15am.

Each week a volunteer will read a story, surrounded by bean bags, cushions and toys for all to sit down, cuddle up and enjoy.

Suitable for under 8s. No booking required.

A drop-in with tea, coffee and toys for parents, grandparents and carers with children aged 0-5 at St Luke's Church on Cell Barnes Lane in the Camp area of St Albans (between Hatfield Road and London Road). We're a newish group, so tend to be a bit quieter than the more established groups, which the families who come quite like. Everyone welcome between 10 and 11.30am each Wednesday morning.

The Aldersgate Café is open every Tuesday morning from 9.30am to 11.30am, and serves freshly brewed coffee and homemade cakes. Tea and chocolate are also available, as well as a selection of Fair Trade juices and biscuits. Everyone is welcome, whether they plan to meet friends for a chat, need a sympathetic ear to listen to a problem or would simply like to read a newspaper. Cafe in action We have a very popular children's area, equipped with books, crayons and a variety of quiet toys, which is designed to help parents or carers of young children keep their little ones occupied, while they enjoy a well earned cuppa. The café runs throughout the year, including half terms and holidays. Do come and join us.
