It's time for The Olde Watermill's Summer Pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.

Princess Aurora is celebrating her eighteenth birthday, but Carabose her aunt is not happy and is up to no good. Dame Nelly, Aurora's nurse and oldest friend, is busy getting ready for the party baking cakes and wrapping presents with Arthur the groom. But at the party Carabose tricks Aurora, who pricks her finger and falls asleep and can only be woken by a Prince. Dame Nelly and Arthur must rescue Aurora, but where will they find a Prince? and what is Nelly's big secret?

The team that brought you Red Riding Hood and Jungle Law! present a Summer Pantomime full of fun, laughter and a sprinkling of magic.

Experience summer fun at The Patch MK! Explore the Labyrinth of Illusions, drive Mini Land Rovers, wander flower fields, and discover the inspiring Last Footprint Exhibition - adventure awaits!

The Fun Fields: Made up of three interactive corn mazes, mini golf and endless unique play.

There will be a beautifully decorated bicycle, and an extra piano added to the field. New games for 2025 include sunflowers and crosses, a bubble station and an exciting horseshoe game.

Covering an acre, our 'Big Bales Stack' is a mountain of huge oat and wheat straw bales cut and carted from our farm close to Harpenden. From the summit you get a glorious view over the sunflowers and from base camp, a circuit of bales to leap and lunge across.

A brand-new Slushy Shed has been added to keep energy levels high whilst climbing the sky-high strawbales... Read more

Join us at Stockwood Discovery Centre as we journey through time as history comes alive.

This two day festival features a variety of living history encampments, recreating a glimpse of daily life from years gone by. From medieval knights to heritage craft demonstrations, visitors can interact with historical reenactors, have a go at skills such as archery or listen to the musical sounds of our past. Come and experience Stockwood as it travels back in time.

Join the free 'Grow it, Cook it, Share it' sessions, to learn about growing, cooking and shopping for healthy, affordable foods in Luton over the summer holidays.

For dads only and their children, sessions run on Saturday mornings 26 July, 2 Aug, 16 Aug, 30 Aug and 6 Sept, 11am - 12.30pm.

Community and environmental charity Groundwork East are running this course, 'Grow it, Cook it, Share It' which is completely free to attend and will focus on learning more about where our food comes from, what's in season, savvy shopper tips and recipe ideas. It's geared around cooking low-cost, nutritious meals that families can enjoy eating together.
