Oaklands Zoo will once again be opening its gates to the public this Halloween season, the perfect chance to come face to face with our spiders, snakes, and all things creepy-crawly.

From our witches' frogs to our mischievous meerkats, there's plenty to discover on a relaxed, family-friendly visit around our teaching zoo. Visitors are welcome to arrive at any time between 1pm and 3:15pm (last entry).

Please note this is a self-guided visit - there are no scheduled tours. However, a Daily Events Board will be available at the entrance each day, featuring updated timings for activities such as animal feeding and enrichment sessions (e.g., marmoset feeding at 2:00pm), subject to animal needs.

As part of a working college campus, our zoo is a compact, educational space. We recommend allowing around 45 minutes to 1 hour for your visit.

There are no catering facilities on site, but we do offer a designated picnic area - feel free to bring your own packed lunch.
