FREE National Trust Family Pass

This Autumn there is a fantastic deal available for families, if you go online to the National Trust, you can get a free one-time family pass, which can be used on any day until Friday 18 October. The pass would normally cost £25 to £35 depending on which site you're visiting! This offer is very popular, so grab one while you can!

What does the pass cover?

The family pass allows two adults and up to three children, or one adult and up to four children (or couples or individuals) to visit one National Trust site for free in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (Scotland locations and English Heritage sites aren't included). Kids must be 17 or under, though under-fives go free anyway. 

There's nothing to pay for entry, but some car parks charge fees, and this pass doesn't get them for free. One pass per household is permitted.

Some National Trust properties require booking in advance (check beforehand)

You can do this by selecting 'Book a visit' on your chosen property, choosing a member's ticket and entering the code 'AUTUMN24' when asked for your membership number. By selecting the free member's ticket, you won't need to input any bank details.

You'll need to show your email and pass when you arrive at your National Trust site – if you booked, you'll need to show your booking confirmation, email, and the pass. Mobile coverage may be limited at some National Trust sites, so it's a good idea to download it to your device, or print the email.

Huge Welcome to Mum's Guide to Luton!

Hi, I’m Maria and I run the Mum's Guide to Luton website and social media. I live in Luton with my husband, our 2-year-old daughter and 3 cats!

I love getting out and about with my family and friends, either to classes and playgroups, local attractions and events or local walks in the park so I hope I’ll have a lot to offer in terms of great things to do in and around Luton. I also love a bit of planning and organisation so am always looking for what's on in the area and finding new places to visit.

As a first-time mum, clueless about where to find any local play groups or places to take my daughter as she was getting more mobile, I found the Mum's Guide to Hitchin Instagram and Facebook pages a lifesaver. So when we moved back to Luton in 2023 I wanted to be able to give something back, and hopefully be able to help others struggling to find things to do with the little ones! I know how important it is, particularly as a new parent to find things to do, not only for your children, but for you to socialise too.

My goal is to provide a website and social pages packed with so much local information for families, that you really don’t need to look elsewhere. I know how busy life is as a parent, and I’m hoping to take the hard work out of finding great things for you to do for quality family time together.

I will continue to update the website with new business listings and events as they get announced, so be sure to bookmark the website address to your browser. I will also still be posting lots on social media so if you aren't already following give me a follow on Facebook and Instagram.
