The Department for Education have reported a scam involving support for free school meals and requests for bank account details. Do not respond to messages like these, they are a scam!

The email reads as follows:

‘As schools will be closing, if you're entitled to free school meals, please send your bank details and we'll make sure you're supported’.

Please do not respond to it, and delete immediately.
