British Youth Music Theatre is an organisation built on community. Our young people are at the heart of our work, and involvement extends far beyond performance.

We support 11-21 year olds by equipping them with both the training and opportunities to step into their creative potential. Our workshops, camps and productions provide young people with the resources, guidance and knowledge to develop their skills, and our culture of authenticity, collaboration, and generosity inspires confidence in their abilities.

For 11-17 year olds - come along for a fun-filled, six day residential stay at to take part in creative theatre training. A great experience, and a great start to your career in musical theatre!

BYMT Camps are six day projects providing playful, creative training in music theatre for anyone aged 11-17. They are designed for young people looking to explore their potential and develop confidence in acting, singing, movement, writing and instrumental playing. Inspiring theatre professionals suggest a brand-new show and participants then develop the story with their ideas and in just a week a new musical is made.

Participants receive a Grade 6 Certificate in Musical Theatre, accredited by MX, the prestigious Mountview Exams.

All our Summer Camps are residential.
