Inspired by Wardown's Hat and Headwear collection, join us this holiday period in one of our two Easter Crown making sessions. Choose from a wide range of craft materials to create your own unique crown and parade it round the museum whilst you explore all the hats on display.

No need to book, just drop in. These sessions are free, however a suggested donation of £2 to support material costs can be made on the day via card.

Our Easter Bunny Hunt is an extremely popular event and has run for many years. There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day!!

Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). On Thursday 2 April 2026 the Gardens, Park, Adventure Playground and Dinosaur Trail will open early from 8:30am offering a calmer, quieter environment for families with children and adults on the autistic spectrum, as well as those with learning disabilities or sensory and communication disorders.

This early opening provides the opportunity to explore our attractions at a relaxed pace, without the usual crowds.

Make your way along the trail and become explorers on this special trail fulled with Shaw's photographs.

Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

(Please note that the Disc Golf course will be closed for essential maintenance on 18th and 19th April. We apologise for any inconvenience.)

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Hertfordshire Zoo is delighted to announce special Easter character days with Paddington™ on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th March and Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th April 2026. Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

(Please note that the Disc Golf course will be closed for essential maintenance on 18th and 19th April. We apologise for any inconvenience.)

This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Izzy Wizzy Let's get busy - The Sooty Show heads into town in a magical new show to delight the whole family!

Bottle Feeding Lambs will also be back, along with our usual daily animal activities. And it wouldn't be Easter without a little chocolate, so complete our Easter Trail and enjoy a chocolatey treat. Join us for a celebration of the artwork of Rob Biddulph, best-selling author/illustrator whose books include Blown Away, Odd Dog Out, Kevin, Show and Tell and the Peanut Jones series.

In the exhibition you can view a wide selection of Rob's amazing drawings, ranging from the post-it notes he put in his daughter's packed lunch box every day of her primary school career (over 2000 of them!) to the original illustrations from his Guinness World Record breaking #DrawWithRob online art classes.

Explore Rob's world and, with the help of Peanut Jones and her magical pencil that makes anything she draws come to life, see what you can create yourself with this engaging and interactive exhibition.

Looking for a fun outdoor activity in the woods with family and friends? Brickendon Disc Golf is open at the weekend from Saturday 14 March at Celtic Harmony Camp.
The aim is to throw your disc into the basket, just as you would hit a ball into the hole on a golf course! A 9-hole round will take about one hour to complete, with the person taking the least shots winning. It's easy to learn and great for fitness, making Disc Golf the perfect activity for a day out with family and friends.

(Please note that the Disc Golf course will be closed for essential maintenance on 18th and 19th April. We apologise for any inconvenience.)

Create memories that last a lifetime whilst Bottle Feeding our adorable lambs!
This gentle, hands-on experience allows adults and children to get up close, help feed our friendly lambs, and learn more about life on the farm. A truly heart-warming activity and the perfect addition to a family day out at Aldenham Country Park.

Join us for lamb bottle feeding this spring. This is a unique and memorable experience for people of all ages.

Commencing from February Half Term 2026.

A total of six people can bottle feed the lambs per session (each has a separate lamb). The price includes Lamb Bottle Feeding for one person only (young children must have one accompanying adult in the pen to help them), please remember to book Farm Day passes for all farm visitors (under two's are free). Farm Day passes include access to the farm, the farm trail and activity book, plus the woodland play area.
