After an amazing 2024 event, we're thrilled to bring Harpenden's favourite family festival back to the playing fields of Sir John Lawes School on Saturday 4th July 2026.

Expect a full day of live music, great food, family activities and festival fun for all ages.

We're excited to welcome Massaoke back to headline - plus an incredible Oasis tribute experience from Definitely Could Be Oasis!

Festival on the Field has gained a reputation as a high-quality family festival where children and families can be entertained in a relaxing, fun and safe environment, attracting up to 3,000 mostly local, people. The Festival is held on the playing fields of Sir John Lawes School - from where it derives its name. The festival is a volunteer-run fund-raising event, organised by the parents' organisations of Sir John Lawes School and Manland Primary School in Harpenden.
