On Saturday 20 September 2025, Elmtree Canine Retreat's three-acre site will host the first Mad Hatter's Dog Day, a family-friendly community event combining dogs, hats, and fun - all in support of charity.

The day runs from 12:00-5:00pm (registration from 11:00am) and features:

• Fun dog show with categories such as Best Rescue, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail, Best Puppy, Golden Oldie and more.
• Hat Parade - where dogs and their owners showcase their best hats.
• Dog demonstrations including agility, scent work, and gundog training.
• Family zone with hat-making, crafts, bouncy castle, and stalls.
• Food and market stalls featuring local businesses and artisan makers.

Adults £3 (booked online) | Children & dogs FREE

The event is jointly presented by Haute Dogs, Underdog International, and Elmtree Canine Retreat. Elmtree is providing the venue free of charge, ensuring that all proceeds go directly to Underdog International.
