Festival on the Field has gained a reputation as a high-quality family festival where children and families can be entertained in a relaxing, fun and safe environment, attracting up to 3,000 mostly local, people. The Festival is held on the playing fields of Sir John Lawes School - from where it derives its name. The festival is a volunteer-run fund-raising event, organised by the parents' organisations of Sir John Lawes School and Manland Primary School in Harpenden.

Back by (very) popular demand! In 2018 we introduced the Karaoke phenomenon Massaoke who, now much in demand, have agreed to come back and headline the show for us again this year. Massaoke is the live band singalong clubbing sensation that's sweeping the UK, from the Glastonbury Festival to the Edinburgh fringe.

This year's Festival on the Field brings you Totally Taylor by Melissa, a highly acclaimed tribute act, to help you and the Swifties in your family Shake It Off. Melissa has the look, voice and energy of Taylor Swift having studied her for over a decade. Come get up close to the stage and dance to your favorite Taylor tunes right here in Harpenden!
