Junior sessions for Years 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 are currently on Tuesdays and for Years 9-11, and Seniors, on Thursdays.

Our general aims are to have fun, promote skilful and safe skiing, to train, develop and help established racers and to introduce novices to the sport of ski racing. We do have a minimum age and ability criteria for all sessions. We do not teach beginners or people to ski.

Orienteering is for families. Try it with your kids. It's healthy exercise in varied locations. Kids love meeting and taking part. We'll give you a map showing a series of checkpoints for you to visit as fast as you can. For Juniors there is a regular introductory series of events. And all club juniors are invited to attend the free junior training sessions held about 6 times per year. There is no lower age limit, but parents of children under 8 are asked to stay with them.

HYMB has been offering outdoor educational opportunities to both adults and young people from Hertfordshire and surrounding areas for over 60 years. From initially offering mainly watersports, over the past decade we have expanded in to other areas, for example caving, climbing and problem solving/team building activities.
