Join us for one of the Cathedral's bite-sized carol services, taking place on the hour, every hour from 11am until 4pm. One of the Cathedral's most popular events, Carols on the Hour is a fantastic opportunity to belt out Christmas carols and to hear music from different St Albans choirs. It's a great festive break from Christmas shopping and a lovely way to get a taste of Christmas at the Cathedral.

Entry via the West End doors only. Arrive in good time and expect to queue for each service. Exit will be via the Welcome centre after your visit.

Look out for the animals and characters from the Nativity right here at St Albans Cathedral. Follow the Live Nativity Trail map and come and see the story of Christmas brought to life around the Cathedral.

Pick up your trail map from any of the stops and start at the South Churchyard (at the top of the Cathedral Orchard).

In the Collection hangars our iconic aircraft, vehicles and machines will be bathed in light, adding to the awesome revere these fantastic machines inspire.
