Shed-ache is a seriously silly dance theatre show that transports little people and their grown ups to a world that sits somewhere between reality and make believe.

Two friends (three if you count the shed!) get up to all sorts whilst faced with downpours, lava floors and socks falling out of the sky.

Shed-ache is a laugh out loud production about the give and take of friendship, the power of imagination and the importance to embrace experiences whatever the weather.

Taking inspiration from the Ghanaian headwear exhibition curated by The Ghana Society, join us in the drawing room at Wardown Museum to explore some arts and crafts from Ghanaian Culture.

Hocus, Pocus, Boil and Bubble, join us for some spooky fun down on the farm this Halloween, it's going to be spooktacular!
Step into the centre of Hocus Pocus; enjoy bird of prey flying displays, creepy critter encounters, tractor rides, have a go at flying an owl, pat a pet, meet and handle an owl and much more for the whole family to enjoy!

This year, The BIG Draw celebrate 25 years with the theme 'Drawn Together', highlighting how creativity unites us and how collaboration and connection are at the heart of making.

How would the smell of the Cedar Oak look? Does the sculpture garden look different in the morning to the afternoon? Who knows. Grab a pencil and some paper from reception and find something around the site that inspires you and draw your very own unique interpretation.

We will be using everyone's creations to form a giant masterpiece at the end of the week!

Looking for something unique to do this October half term with your Tribe? How about some outdoor activities packed with fresh air and adventure? Whether you're a thrill seeker looking for action-packed fun or simply after some quality time with friends and family we have the adventure and holiday scene covered. Join us in the heart of Wendover near Aylesbury for a day out in the treetops. Clamber up rope ladders, tackle tricky crossings and experience our iconic ziplines. Our forest doors will be open daily and the number one place to go. October half term solutions in Buckinghamshire sorted. It's where boring ends!

Our magical school timetable has been scrambled up by playful witches and cheeky woodland ghosts! They've mixed up all the lessons, and now we need your help to put things right.

As you journey through the meadow and woodland, look out for each lesson along the trail. Can you spot the lesson and work out which class it belongs to?

At every location, write down the spooky lesson on your trail sheet and match to the correct class to help restore order to our school of magic.

As you follow the trail, use your 3D classes to reveal a secret hidden letter. The letters will spell out a magic word. Return to the Mill shop and speak the magic word to stop the mischievous witches and ghosts mixing up the lessons again.

Autumn Open Day - October 2025

Join us in the wonderful Walled Garden for all things crafty with an Autumn theme. Outdoor fun and craft in the last open day of the Walled Garden of the year.
£5 per child Adults £3 and under 2's FREE

Step into the centre of Hocus Pocus; enjoy bird of prey flying displays, creepy critter encounters, tractor rides, have a go at flying an owl, pat a pet, meet and handle an owl and much more for the whole family to enjoy!

Join us in the heart of Wendover near Aylesbury for a day out in the treetops. Clamber up rope ladders, tackle tricky crossings and experience our iconic ziplines. Our magical school timetable has been scrambled up by playful witches and cheeky woodland ghosts! They've mixed up all the lessons, and now we need your help to put things right.

As you journey through the meadow and woodland, look out for each lesson along the trail. Can you spot the lesson and work out which class it belongs to?

At every location, write down the spooky lesson on your trail sheet and match to the correct class to help restore order to our school of magic.

As you follow the trail, use your 3D classes to reveal a secret hidden letter. The letters will spell out a magic word. Return to the Mill shop and speak the magic word to stop the mischievous witches and ghosts mixing up the lessons again.
