The skatepark was built in 1987 with help from keen local teenagers, many of whom are still involved with The Pioneer Club to this day. We have both indoor and outdoor ramps and all sessions are supervised. We allow skates,skateboards and scooters to use our park. For opening hours see our website.

100 acres of beautiful parkland close to the city centre and is a popular attraction throughout the year with wide range of facilities. The Park is named after the Roman City of Verulamium on which it stands. The City walls and outline of the London Gate can still be seen. Follow the trail markers through the woods to find familiar characters from the story, collect stars as you learn like Zog did at dragon school, and complete interesting challenges along the way.
