Create mini flower garden pots

by

Published:

Mini plant pots are the ideal size for little hands and can be a chance for them to grow and care for their own personal flower garden.

Start off by buying a couple of mini flower pots and then host an arts and crafts session to let them get as creative as they want. Grabbing a selection of things to decorate with, like an assortment of coloured marker pens and some fun washi tape, will keep your kids entertained for ages and add an extra personalised touch to their pots — this can also prevent tantrums over whose is whose! Just be sure to supervise so your outdoor furniture stays scribble-free.

And best of all, these are quick and easy to compose:

  • Add some soil to your pots.
  • Place a small piece of your desired plant into the soil.
  • Water it (be careful not to over-do it!).

You can even go that extra mile in feeding their imagination and add these to a designated fairy garden area. Pick up some miniature gnomes and fairy figurines to populate your fairy town or make these together at home for some extra bonding time.
