From 1st - 31st October, visit Scott's of Southend indoor and outdoor pumpkin picking barn. It's weather proof and totally accessible and this year they not only have an outdoor pumpkin patch to explore but 3 highland cows to meet! PLUS take away one free medium pumpkin per person and get access to the spooky maize maze. - Scott's also have lots of other events including a Halloween VR ride, as well as spooky twilight nights and a Halloween afternoon tea!

Sat 25th & Sun 26th October. £7.75 - £9.38pp (Under 3's FREE) For one weekend only, Prittlewell Priory's lawn has been transformed into a pumpkin patch, just in time for Halloween! Get into the autumnal spirit and pop along to choose a pumpkin to take home with you, meet some furry farmyard friends in Stanton's Farm's visiting petting zoo and enjoy other family friendly seasonal activities with face painting, crafting, games, Halloween potion making and a children's trail.

Opening from 4th October every weekend until October half term, then open every day. Prices vary from £9.39 per child, £13.04 adults and £40.69 for a family of 4 (Under 1's free) This event is so much more than simply picking your own pumpkin! ANY size and your choice of pumpkin from the field is included, one per person! NO HIDDEN EXTRAS- your pumpkin, maize maze, live actors, tractor rides and entry to the haunted barn are all included in your ticket price as is parking! Access our 25 acres of pumpkin fields, where we have grown them especially for you to pick. Tractor ride on our Pumpkin Express' taking you on a trip around the pumpkin fields Our friendly cows and goats will be there to say 'hi!' As well as picking the thousands of pumpkins, squashes and gourds, there are lots of activities and fun photo opportunities including Precious ring swing, Witches Maze, pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Wizzbee and Wizards Welly Wanging
🎃Foxes Farm Produce (Watch House Farm, Wash Road, Basildon, SS15 4ER. Bus route 9 and 100) 25 mins from Southend
Tickets off peak £4.50pp or peak £5pp (Free under 1's) or £20.50 - £25.50 for four tickets.
Open 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th - 31st October. Along with pumpkin picking, you will find pumpkin corn trail, giant sandpit, mini tractors, hula hoops, football goals, sack racing, bale mountains and lots of fun farm obstacles. Refreshments and picnic area available - *It does get pretty muddy!!*
🎃Pumpkin Festival at Lathcoats Farm? (Beehive Lane, Chelmsford CM2 8LX) 30 mins from Southend
£4.72 entry for both adults and children which will take £2 off each pumpkin you purchase. Babies in arms do not require a ticket
Starts on 11th October until end of half term. PYO pumpkin patch, they will also have an undercover pumpkin patch, outdoor games and plenty of photo opportunities too! Make sure you book onto the Halloween Hunt as well for lots more fun, it includes access to the trail, an activity sheet, pencil and delicious prize!
