Discover your local library

Published:

With the risk of losing our local libraries, it's more important than ever to continue to visit and access the free resources and services that are available to us.

Did you know that you can join a library free of charge at any time, at any age? It is free to borrow books and also reserve from other libraries with no overdue fees on children's books borrowed. There are also thousands of e-books available to borrow at no cost. The Teenzone for children aged 12-18 years also features free online books and study material, including online guidance in passing a driving Theory Test!

There are relaxed sessions in The Forum for children between 5.00pm - 6.00pm to relieve any pressure of meeting social expectations.

Here's what each library in Southend has to offer for children each week. All clubs within the library are FREE of charge. Please note this information is correct at time of publishing.
