It may be the summer holidays but life goes on and in reality, the majority of parents still have to work! We get it, which is why we've pulled together a list of all the evening and weekend events you can still enjoy with the kids.
Waddle-On-Sea trail - The trail is open and available at any time of the day so a great one for filling in an hour or so at the end of the day
Fuelled by motion BBQ evenings - The Green Barn farm shop are holding these evenings every Thursday from 6pm in the holidays. Just turn up with your family for a bbq, toasting marshmallows and to see some cool cars!
Monkey Business summer party - Soft play party on Monday 21st to celebrate summer from 5-7pm
Pizza party at Grumpy's Diner on Tues 19th August - 5-7pm
ATF Summer evenings at The Hive - Lots of activities, den building, toasting marshmallows, games and fun! 6-8pm every Monday
Lego club - A lego club event taking place late afternoon! Grease themed on 30th July 4.30-6pm
Destination Lakeside - Open everyday until 8pm! A free beach and splash park area as well as lots of funfair rides.

Little Drivers has a Saturday session on Saturday 9th August in Westcliff.
Essex fire museum are holding 2 open days, one being held on Sunday 27th July!
Feel Good Festival is taking place on Saturday 26th July - A free events with lots to do for all ages
Southend Pier puppet festival - Taking place from Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd August
Bugs and butterflies trail at Hadleigh park - All weekend Just download a trail map or pop into the cafe.

Adventure Island - Closing times vary but often between 8pm-10pm in the holidays
King Pins - Open late
Rollacity - Times vary but can close anywhere between 6pm - 11.00pm
Southend Pier - Closes at 8pm
