Hainault lake for many years has only been used for fishing but now it has joint use for family's to adventure on to the lake in traditional 5 seat rowing boats. Rowing is great fun for all the family and teaching your children to row can have great benefits as it is great exercise, gives them confidence and a sense of direction.
Rowing boats can have a maximum of 4/5 persons. A basic knowledge of rowing is helpful when using these boats, but it is by no means essential and first-timers are more than welcome.
Prices: One hour - £15
(All Boat hire is subject to a £5 Deposit which is refundable upon return)
Tickets can be purchased at the boating office by the boating platform on the lake side and 1 adult must be in charge as children are not allowed out on their own
