Rom skatepark is the UK's first Grade II Listed skatepark and it's based in Hornchurch. Almost an acre of outdoor concrete skatepark, Rom is run by volunteers and open at weekends 10-6PM (weather permitting - check social media). PLUS! DURING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ROM WILL BE OPEN MONDAY AND FRIDAY AFTERNOONS (12-4PM) and, as part of the Havering Active summer programme, skateboards and safety equipment are FREE to hire. Admission is £3 per hour (u12's), £6 for 2 hour entry for everyone else. Spectators are FREE. Plenty of FREE PARKING.
Rom is supervised and is an enclosed space in which to safely learn to scoot, skate or ride a BMX. We usually have SkateboardGB accredited coaches onsite to get you safely rolling.
Toy (plastic) scooters and children's roller skates are allowed under parental supervision and at the discretion of Rom's staff
Parents of under 12's are required to stay onsite (drinks, snacks and a seating area will be available). All visitors and riders musr register on arrival and sign relevant waiver..
