Take the first step toward hobby beekeeping!
These day courses are held at our Honeyworks Beekeeping centre where friendly, experienced beekeepers will allow you to learn the first skills of beekeeping. You will enjoy looking inside a beehive, watching the bees at work and trying to find the queen in amongst the thousands of worker bees. You will also find out about different approaches to beekeeping, what equipment is needed and get an idea of how much time you need to spend. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions with our very experienced beekeepers. Perhaps this could be the start of your new pastime.

The Repair Cafe is run entirely by volunteers and enables members of the public to bring their damaged items for volunteers to give them a new lease of life, preventing thousands of repairable household items from going to landfill every year.

Anything that's broken (and which you can manage to carry on your own to the Repair Café) is welcome and has a good chance of getting properly repaired.

Take the first step toward hobby beekeeping!
These day courses are held at our Honeyworks Beekeeping centre where friendly, experienced beekeepers will allow you to learn the first skills of beekeeping. You will enjoy looking inside a beehive, watching the bees at work and trying to find the queen in amongst the thousands of worker bees. You will also find out about different approaches to beekeeping, what equipment is needed and get an idea of how much time you need to spend. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions with our very experienced beekeepers. Perhaps this could be the start of your new pastime.

Well, at only £5 per adult and £2 per child (with under 2's and carers FREE!) with lots of outdoor garden fun, a chance to pick something up from the Walled Garden Shop and the opportunity to picnic in the garden or lunch at the Woodyard Café; all the ingredients for a fantastic summer morning for the whole family! Get your little ones interested in the wonder of herbs and what they can do! This is a family-friendly workshop with The Savvy Herbalist, Tracy Rothery BSC (Hons) MNIMH, suitable for families with children aged 3-12. A mixture of hands-on activities, crafts, learning and fun. The workshop will include:

- Hands-on gardening session where children will create their own seed tray gardens using herbs.
- Introduction to plant care and the role of herbs in nature and wellness.
