Adventure into outer space with our immersive Standalone Planetarium Experience. We have teamed up with Immersive Theatres who are a mobile digital planetarium service specialising in astronomy, interactive learning, entertainment and a digital 360-degree exploration of space!

Enter the dome and we will take you on an up close educational voyage into space, where little ones will learn about the universe in an accessible way. Immersive Theatre's teaching of astronomy is very much tailored to all the various developmental stages of children's thinking and is the perfect introduction to space for little ones.

To make the first day less daunting for Kids and parents, Perfect Playland is giving parents and children the chance to meet one another for a Play session. It will be a great way for you and your child to make friends with their new classmates and parents in the same position as you.
Book the play session according to the date + play session above The session will be open to the general public, however tables will be allocated for the relevant people starting at the schools listed for that session.

Steaming Days: This is when we have a full-size steam train in action, ready to take you for a ride up and down our track! To make the first day less daunting for Kids and parents, Perfect Playland is giving parents and children the chance to meet one another for a Play session. It will be a great way for you and your child to make friends with their new classmates and parents in the same position as you.
Book the play session according to the date + play session above The session will be open to the general public, however tables will be allocated for the relevant people starting at the schools listed for that session.

Adventure into outer space with our immersive Standalone Planetarium Experience. We have teamed up with Immersive Theatres who are a mobile digital planetarium service specialising in astronomy, interactive learning, entertainment and a digital 360-degree exploration of space!

Enter the dome and we will take you on an up close educational voyage into space, where little ones will learn about the universe in an accessible way. Immersive Theatre's teaching of astronomy is very much tailored to all the various developmental stages of children's thinking and is the perfect introduction to space for little ones.

Goatfest Live Music Festival, is a three-day festival that takes place on August bank holiday weekend - located in Codicote, Herts. Raising money for local charities Isabel Hospice and Willow Foundation, and showcasing the best in UK live music and street food.

Each school holiday we run Storyboats for younger children. This is a gentle 40 minute cruise down the River Gade to where it meets the Grand Union Canal, with wildlife spotting while listening to stories. The books we read a picture books, so the audience can spot the hidden elements and learn about new creatures. Suitable for ages 4 to 8 years, it is the ideal way to fill time between the more costly holiday outings. We feed the waterfowl we encounter and if we are very lucky we see the kingfisher.

We run special themed boats at Halloween and Christmas, with goody bags and an extra special passenger in a red suit at Christmas.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, all passengers must have a ticket. Tickets can be purchased from our website.

Join us for a series of Creative, Make and Take sessions at Wardown House, Museum and Gallery every Wednesday and Friday during Summer!

Be inspired by the Museum collections and surroundings to make something together to take home and share. All materials included and we clear up the mess too!

Adventure into outer space with our immersive Standalone Planetarium Experience. We have teamed up with Immersive Theatres who are a mobile digital planetarium service specialising in astronomy, interactive learning, entertainment and a digital 360-degree exploration of space!

Enter the dome and we will take you on an up close educational voyage into space, where little ones will learn about the universe in an accessible way. Immersive Theatre's teaching of astronomy is very much tailored to all the various developmental stages of children's thinking and is the perfect introduction to space for little ones.

Once again, we'll be transforming the fields around Dunstable Downs into a natural, green Sports Village. We'll have lots of outdoor activities to try including football, cricket, hockey, tennis and table tennis, athletics, soft archery, and frisbee golf. This summer, from 18 July - 2 September, all young explorers are invited to become part of our Zoo Crew! We're packing the summer holidays with fun roleplay and costume dress-up activities, so junior animal-lovers can explore what it's like to work at Whipsnade Zoo, from feeding the animals to caring for their health and even helping to protect them in the wild.
