10am - 4pm, Last entry 3.40pm
During the Easter holidays, learn about the Roman goddess, Cybele. Her feast day was April 4th, and as goddess of cities and progress, she was important to the people of Verulamium. They even built a temple dedicated to her. She was known as the 'Great Mother' and drove a chariot drawn by lions. Make your own miniature chariot pulled by lions to take home with you.
This is a self-led craft, but all resources and instructions will be provided.
Recommended for ages 3+. Younger siblings of participating children can be provided with a free colouring sheet.
£2 per child + admission
