Bring your children to a festive workshop at Cambridge Grand Arcade with local author and Founder of Unplugged Tots, Hannah Hagon.

Together, you'll make:

Paper chains
Snowmen
Father Christmas faces
Simple screen-free activities that spark imagination, creativity, and connection.

Children will love exploring, crafting, and seeing their creations come to life, while parents enjoy a moment of calm and time together pausing from the bustle of Christmas shopping.
Hannah will also be signing copies of her book Unplugged Tots.

Purchase your copy from the Raspberry Pi store first, then come and get it signed. Unplugged Tots is a book designed to help you teach the core concepts behind coding to preschool-aged children (and have fun while doing it!). Just like learning an additional language, the process of learning digital skills has numerous benefits for children (as well as parents, teachers, and caregivers), including improved communication, greater confidence, and perhaps the most important skill of all: the ability to learn from failure.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Please avoid consuming food and drink during the sessions (or just be really careful) Thank you.

There's a £2.50 craft fee per family to cover materials. You can pay in advance or on the day. Booking isn't essential, but it helps me plan materials and quantities so there's enough for everyone.
