Hitchin's second Kidical Mass ride will take place on Sunday 17th May at 10.30am, starting at Ransom's recreation ground and ending at Walsworth Common, where the annual Walsworth festival will be taking place. The ride is just over 2 miles long, everyone is welcome, all children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and we recommend a minimum independent rider age of 5 years old (younger children in bike seats/ trailers/ cargo bikes etc are of course very welcome!). The route is not suitable for stabilisers.

Last year's ride was a great success with over 100 participants, of all ages, taking to the roads to help spread our vision of improved safe spaces for children to walk, scoot, wheel and cycle in their neighbourhoods.

Kidical mass is a growing worldwide body of people with the same vision - to allow children and young people to be able to safely and independently travel by bicycle wherever they live. Come join us!
