Fossil Handling - Free Kids Session
North Herts Museum
Thu 14th August 2025
10.45am, 11.30am, 12.15pm
Join us for a fossil handling session with one of our curators. From an Iguanodon's thumb spike to dinosaur food, there will be a selection of fossils that are millions of years old. We also have replicas, so you can see the size of a T-Rex's or a Parasaurolophus's head.
We'll also show you the sorts of fossils you can find when going for a walk in North Herts, so maybe you could collect some of your own.
