The Hitchin School of Dance (formerly The Granville School of Dance) was founded by the original Principal, Mollie Gilbert, In 2024, we shall be celebrating 70 years of providing dance classes in Hitchin. The Hitchin Taekwon-Do Club was established in 1987 which makes it the longest and oldest ITF Taekwon-Do club in Hitchin and possibly Hertfordshire. I took the club over with just 6 students in 1990. We now have clubs in Hitchin, Stevenage and Barton-Le-Clay which form HSTS Taekwon-Do with over 400 students and over 34 different classes running throughout the week. We take pride in having a high Instructor to student ratio with 9 BTC registered Instructors and dedicated age related classes to be able to cater from age 4 to 60+. We have dedicated children's classes for 4-8yrs and 9-12yrs, as well as 13yrs/adults classes. This enables us to run age specific classes but keeping the discipline found within the Martial arts.

Imagination Dance are specialists at providing dance for those who are rarely offered it!
Our after-school classes are specifically aimed at those with a disability or SEN - diagnosed or undiagnosed.

Jigsaw Performing Arts is dedicated to developing performance skills, promoting self-expression and building confidence. Every student can benefit, in some way, from the performing arts. While some join us to build a firm foundation for a professional performance career, others do so to unlock their hidden talents, overcome their shyness or increase their confidence and social skills. However, what all students enjoy is having fun through drama, singing and dance classes, while making lots of new friends. If you've not been involved in anything like the performing arts before, we offer a two-week trial to all new students.
