Great news! Hertfordshire Libraries are reopening starting with, St Albans, Stevenage Central, Watford Central and Welwyn Garden City libraries on Monday 3rd August. Harpenden will follow in the coming weeks and we’ll let you know when the exact date is announced.
You will be able to browse for up to 15 minutes and use use the self-service kiosks for borrowing and returning items. Public computers will also be available for pre-booked 1-hour sessions. Social distancing measures will be in place including queue management, screens on enquiry desks, hand sanitiser stations and quarantine areas for returned books. You will also be encouraged to wear face coverings.
Some facilities and services will be unavailable including toilets & baby change, group activities and Wi-Fi.
