If your child is too old to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge at Harpenden Library this summer, how about ImagiNation for 10-18 year olds, also running at Harpenden Library from 14th July to 8th September?

The idea is to combine reading and creativity. Borrow two books from the library this summer, and pick up and ImagiNation book band. Read the book then write or draw on the band to inspire others to read it, then wrap it around the book. Anyone who completes a band and shows it to the library staff will be awarded a certificate and entered into a draw to win Amazon vouchers worth up to £70!
