Frooble: A Free Year 3 Mental Maths Challenge (online)

I'm a Harpenden parent and a primary maths lead. I've made a free challenge to help Year 3 children practise the mental addition and subtraction they're learning at school.

There are 14 levels, each teaching one strategy. Children start with step-by-step help pictures, and the help is slowly taken away so they learn to work on their own. It's a game, but the focus is firmly on the maths. A few minutes a day is plenty.

Children earn stars as they go and a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate at the end. There's also a parent dashboard so you can see how they're getting on.
