Teen Yoga with Jitka
Age: 11 - 17
Teen yoga bookable in blocks of 6 lessons.
Every student has to bring own mat and blanket. Please let me know if you do not have a mat, we can figure it out!
Yoga encourages the development of the whole personality through:
- ASANAS (yoga postures - awareness of our body and its limits, building self-respect and acceptance)
- PRANAYAMA (breath control - no matter how stressed you get, remember to focus on the things you can control - breath is one them and always with you!!!)
- RELAXATION (relaxation will trigger our rest&digest mode, makes us less reactive to stressful situations, recharges the body systems)
- CONCENTRATION (yoga offers several tools to help us staying in a PRESENT moment and not to be easily distructed - balancing and grounding postures, breath awareness, drishti - a point of focus to set your gaze on, hand mudras, mantras, ...with ongoing practise you find out what works for you)
All 4 parts are always included in every lesson!
