Pilates in Harpenden and St Albans.
Pilates is a form of exercise that targets the deep postural muscles from the inside out. It helps to improve posture, develop strength and flexibility and relieves unwanted stress and tension. It can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities.
Clients can expect to be taught Pilates in a friendly, accessible and non judgmental way. I always do my best to listen to the needs of clients and adapt the exercises to bring the greatest benefit to the individual.
I have additional qualifications in: Bone Health, Pregnancy and Post- Natal exercise and Older People. I am a Back 4 Good Practitioner which is a specialist qualification in managing Lower Back Pain.
(In addition I have had experience of helping teenagers complete part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award by teaching them Pilates and thereby fulfilling their new skills section.)
