Welcome to La Leche League Hertfordshire! We are dedicated to providing mother-to-mother, parent-to-parent breastfeeding support.

We support mothers to breastfeed, and families to feed their babies with human milk in whatever way works for them. We also provide information for supporters and health professionals. Our approach is respectful, inclusive, and responsive to different experiences and needs.

LLL Leaders are voluntary breastfeeding counsellors who have breastfed, and have completed comprehensive training in breastfeeding support and group facilitation. In LLL Hertfordshire Leaders offer support in a range of ways, including by phone, text, email, in-person and online.

We run support meetings — a welcoming space to talk about feeding your baby, share experiences, hear what has helped others, and make friends. We hold in-person group sessions in St Albans and Wheathampstead, and online support sessions too. Support meeting dates and venue details can be found on our web page:
