Join us online via a secure Teacher led virtual meeting for fun & educational lessons. Pick from Minecraft Coding, Roblox Programming or Scratch Lessons! Our online tech lessons are the perfect way for your child to increase their computer science skills at home. With guided tuition from our tech teachers, they'll get creative, code and learn skills to help shape their future.

For young people aged 13-17 out of formal education.
Every Monday during term-time from 12-2pm.

Before a young person can attend a youth work project, a referral must be made via the SfYP website.

Get ready to build! We're starting a new LEGO Club for ages 6-11 at the library.

Join us on Fridays from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM, starting Friday, September 5th 2025.

Spaces are limited to 8 children on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to get here early! Children must also be library members to participate.

Sensory Magic is a Multi-sensory space for all ages with or without disabilities. Suitable for 1-2-1, groups, childminders, families and friends.

Woodcraft Folk is a national charity run by volunteers. Young people develop their self-confidence & awareness of the world through our group nights, residentials & camps, where we use outdoor activities, crafts, songs & games to promote big ideas like sustainability & democracy. Groups meet in St Albans on Thurs/Fri eves: elfins (age 6-9), pioneers (10-12), venturers (13-15) and DFs (16+) . We ask for termly donations to cover costs.

St Albans Trapeze and Aerial Arts offers classes for adults and children in static trapeze, aerial silks, aerial hammock, aerial yoga and more in a friendly and welcoming environment. All our experienced teachers have Enhanced DBS checks and up to date first aid training. Children's classes (9-13yrs), teenage classes (12-16yrs) and sessions for home educated children and teenagers available.

Herts YFC is a county wide organisation made up of 6 clubs - 3 Junior/Countrysiders and 3 Senior. At present we have a membership of 166.

Junior clubs range from 10 - 16 years and Seniors usually 16 - 26 years. We have a County Organiser who helps with the day-to-day running and a new county office which was opened in 2009.
