St Albans Postboxes 2025

Have you spotted the postbox toppers around town?  Those talented knitters and crocheters of St Albans and surrounds have been at it again and there are over 100 across the district this year, including 13 in Harpenden, 1 in Redbourn and 3 in Wheathampstead, supporting two charities: Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline and Comfort Cases UK.

You can find a map on the St Albans Postboxes website or pick up a printed version at St Albans Museum or Inn on The Park at Verulamium Park.

If you really want a challenge, find all 100 toppers, photograph each one and submit your entry for a chance to win a £100 meal voucher for a local pub! (Details and checklist included with the map) 

And if you are looking for a last minute gift idea a brand-new celebration book is available, featuring all 102 toppers from the 2024 world record attempt, plus photos and behind-the-scenes stories.  The book is available on Amazon and all proceeds will go to Gaddesden Place Riding for Disabled Centre (RDA) and Up on Downs.
