tried & tested

When there are so many places to choose from it's hard to know where to visit! In good or bad weather, with very young children or older teens, activity venues or quiet walks, every venue will offer something different with a variety of facilities available. We will add our thoughts on places that we have Tried & Tested so that you are well-informed before you make your decision to leave the house!

Anne & Paul's Lunatic Lights

Published:

I've lived in Biggleswade for a decade and I am ashamed to say it has taken me that long to visit Anne & Paul's. If you've yet to check out this local legendary light experience, make sure you squeeze half an hour into your schedule to pop over to Broom and check it out.

We had a park a little way away as it's street parking, but after a brief walk we saw the lights and made our way in. We made a donation at the entrance and bought some raffle tickets (we weren't winners sadly) and made our way around. Each year Anne and Paul raise several thousands of pounds for the Sue Ryder hospice in Moggerhanger.

The garden was pushchair friendly and easy to navigate.

This will definitely become a Christmas staple for us, and all for a good cause.
