We will be running a pottery painting session every Weds from 30th July at the Inn on the Green, Leyton Road, Harpenden from1030am-1pm. Book a table to share with friends or your children and you can make memories, have some painting therapy or perhaps create a gift.
Items range from £7-35 each and take 10-14 days to be ready. We can take payment by card, cash or bank transfer.

Transport your little ones into outer space with our immersive Space Dome. We have teamed up with Immersive Theatres who are a mobile digital planetarium service specialising in astronomy, interactive learning, entertainment and a digital 360-degree exploration of space! Enter the dome and we will take you on an up-close educational voyage into space, where little ones will learn about the universe in an accessible way. Immersive Theatre's teaching of astronomy is very much tailored to all the various developmental stages of children's thinking and is the perfect introduction to space for little ones.

Covering an acre, our 'Big Bales Stack' is a mountain of huge oat and wheat straw bales cut and carted from our farm close to Harpenden. From the summit you get a glorious view over the sunflowers and from base camp, a circuit of bales to leap and lunge across.

Immersive Theatre's teaching of astronomy is very much tailored to all the various developmental stages of children's thinking and is the perfect introduction to space for little ones.

We're excited to announce new photo props and games added for our 2025 event!
Some of the new props include a sunflower arch, large 3D numbers and an adorable swing seat attached to a tractor.
There will be a beautifully decorated bicycle, and an extra piano added to the field. New games for 2025 include sunflowers and crosses, a bubble station and an exciting horseshoe game.
Sunflower Trail - our 7 acres of sunflowers are bursting into life
Covering an acre, our 'Big Bales Stack' is a mountain of huge oat and wheat straw bales cut and carted from our farm close to Harpenden. From the summit you get a glorious view over the sunflowers and from base camp, a circuit of bales to leap and lunge across.

This summer, your mission-should you choose to accept it-is to train as a top-secret agent in our exciting, family-friendly spy school! Over an action-packed summer holiday, kids and grown-ups alike will unlock new spy skills, take on thrilling challenges, and complete top-secret missions together. Each week features a different spy skill-from decoding and disguise to stealth and surveillance.
We're open Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm from Thursday 24 July to Sunday 31 August.
Activities are £3 per child. Or buy a summer holiday pass - £6 per child for all 6 weeks! No booking required.

On our trail for the summer holidays, take on the challenges to see if you can beat the best. Perfect for families, but great for anyone who wants to test themselves and feel the satisfaction of being crowned a 'Super Skilled Senser'!

The Summerfield Line will take you between Haynes End Station and Hammer Hill Station.
At Hammer Hill you will have the option of taking a ride on two more of our railways - The Springfield Line from platform 2 and The Winterfield Line from platform 3 - tickets for both are sold at Hammer Hill.
The picnic area at Hammer Hill will also be open for you to use, from where you will be able to watch the Garden Line in operation.
At Haynes End the Station Buffet will be open for refreshments and picnic tables are available for your use on the grass outside.
Steam engines will also be in action as often as we are able.

Covering an acre, our 'Big Bales Stack' is a mountain of huge oat and wheat straw bales cut and carted from our farm close to Harpenden. From the summit you get a glorious view over the sunflowers and from base camp, a circuit of bales to leap and lunge across.

The Summerfield Line will take you between Haynes End Station and Hammer Hill Station.
At Hammer Hill you will have the option of taking a ride on two more of our railways - The Springfield Line from platform 2 and The Winterfield Line from platform 3 - tickets for both are sold at Hammer Hill.
The picnic area at Hammer Hill will also be open for you to use, from where you will be able to watch the Garden Line in operation.
At Haynes End the Station Buffet will be open for refreshments and picnic tables are available for your use on the grass outside.

The Summerfield Line will take you between Haynes End Station and Hammer Hill Station.
At Hammer Hill you will have the option of taking a ride on two more of our railways - The Springfield Line from platform 2 and The Winterfield Line from platform 3 - tickets for both are sold at Hammer Hill.
The picnic area at Hammer Hill will also be open for you to use, from where you will be able to watch the Garden Line in operation.
At Haynes End the Station Buffet will be open for refreshments and picnic tables are available for your use on the grass outside.
Steam engines will also be in action as often as we are able.

Once again, we're delighted to be working with our co-organiser, 'Love Local Craft & Food Fayre' to bring you this fabulous event.
You can expect to see over 40 stalls at this event, entry and parking is free.

We welcome blind and partially sighted children and their families to this special event.
Get hands on with real Museum specimens led by trained facilitators. Each event will explore a different theme and include different specimens.
The theme for June's workshop is British Wildlife, September is Marvellous Mammals and November's is Under the Sea.
During the session you are welcome to borrow our Tactile Bags to explore the galleries. These bags have a variety of items and specimens to bring the galleries to life.
Suitable for ages 5+. Booking is essential.

Christmas officially begins in Dunstable on Friday 28 November when the annual Torchlight Procession brings everyone together to enjoy the festive activities!
Join us on The Square with the school choirs of Dunstable to sing carols, meet Father Christmas and turn on the Christmas Tree lights accompanied by the Dunstable Salvation Army band. Not to be missed is the array of food and drink stalls down Middle Row and a fantastic light show finale to end the evening.

This is the Robert Bloomfield Academy Winter Fair - a highlight in the school calendar and much loved by students, parents, staff and visitors alike. We will have 36 stalls packed full of Christmas gifts and treats, alongside 4 school house fundraising stalls, plus refreshments and some festive music to put you in the mood for Christmas!
