Santa Fly-In and Snowball Hunt at Shuttleworth

Published:

We were kindly gifted access into Shuttleworth grounds Sunday just gone for the Santa Fly-In and Snowball Hunt.

Santa was due to arrive at 11am so we arrived half hour early to allow time encase of queuing and the short walk from the car park( parking is free)  to the cafe area. It was a very chilly morning so we all wrapped up well especially as a lot of it is outside.
There was signage letting us know where Santa would be landing, due to the fog he couldn’t fly but the plane drove in making it look like he flew. He came up to the fence line and said hello to many of the children (he was a pretty convincing Santa)

We then went into the the Swiss Gardens and enjoyed a walk around whilst searching for snowballs, once we had found them we returned to the cafe area where Santa was waiting to greet us.

Once in the warm cafe the children could have a photo with Santa and receive a gift. All of this was just £3 per child and adult passes from £10.
The cafe was open 10am serving hot and cold food and refreshments, there are toilets situated throughout the grounds including the gardens, cafe and the hangars.

Your ticket gives you access to Shuttleworth for the remainder of the day so you can enjoy the very large play area, watch planes taking off, explore the hangars, the gardens, woodland walks, house or just enjoy a bite to eat in the cafe.

This coming Sunday (18th December) is the final Santa Fly-In of the year so if you haven’t caught a glimpse of the big guy yet or just fancy enjoying this experience then book now. https://www.mumsguideto.co.uk/biggleswade/event.php?eventid=1331&event=Santas-Fly-In-and-Snowball-Hunt-

Leanne
