Splash Around At A Splash Park!
With the weather heating up why not head over to one of the four, yes FOUR splash parks that are within half hour of Biggleswade.
Our closest being Avenue Park in Baldock which is only 15 minutes away! It has a splash pad and play areas, there is limited parking but is only a short 10 minutes from the town centre.
Next we have Howard Park and Gardens in Letchworth which boasts a large splash pool with jets, plenty of seating over looking the pool, play areas, toilets and a refreshment kiosk. Again parking is limited.
A tad further away, still only 20 minutes we have Bancroft Splash Park in Hitchin. They have a 'Buccaneer' themed splash park and a play area. A pay and display car park is just behind Bancroft Gardens.
Last but not least, 25 minutes away we have Priory Memorial Gardens in Royston, consisting of a splash pad with water jets, play areas, a sensory garden and lots of seating. Although no onsite parking, you can park at the Civic Centre, Fish Hill and Market Hill. Toilets are in Fish Hill and town is just 5 minutes away.
