Perfect Playland, Shefford

Published:

We were invited along to the newly refurbished indoor soft play - Perfect Playland in Shefford to do a Tried and Tested review. Originally called The Hive, they launched at the beginning of 2024. We visited on a cold, wet Friday morning and attended the 9.15am session. This was perfect for us as we came straight from doing the school run. There's parking right outside, it does get pretty full, so if you can't get a space there you can park in Morrisons, which is behind the soft play. I visited with my 3 year old and 9 month old and it's perfect for their ages. It actually goes up to 8 years old which is good to know. We even visited a week later for a birthday party and my eldest is 6 and loved it. There's a seperate baby area 0-2 with lots to crawl/toddle over and a ball pit. The staff there are great and regularly check there aren't any bigger kids in the baby area.

The theme throughout is Superheros and princesses which is based on their sister company Once Upon A Perfect Party and they will soon be introducing a party room which will host their own character parties.

They have their own family-friendly cafe stocked with hot and cold drinks, snacks and food to order. Just to note you're not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks and they do cater for all allergies, just check with them if you need something specific. Each session lasts 2 hours so lots of time to eat and still get plenty of play time too.

What I love about this indoor soft play, is that you have full view of the soft play from the table and chairs. So I feel quite comfortable sitting there with my baby whilst my toddler goes off to explore and I know it's safe and secure and I like that I can see him.

For all the dates and times and to book your session head to Perfect Playland website here. A playing child is £6. Adults £3.50. Babies (non playing) FREE and non-playing siblings £3. Make sure you keep an eye out for their events. They're currently running late night visits and play every last Friday of the month from 4-6pm.

We had a great time and will definitely be visiting again soon. I really recommend it.

Our tickets were kindly gifted by Perfect Playland to review this soft play.
