Around 15 stunning motorcycles will be parked in our car park between 11:30am and 12:30pm. A fantastic sight for visitors and photography enthusiasts alike.

150 years ago, in 1876, the first foundation stone of Shuttleworth House (as we know it today) was laid.
Join us for this wonderful free event as we throw open the doors for you to explore our iconic Jacobean style mansion.
Discover the rich history of this opulent building from family home to convalescent home, agricultural college and now an award-winning wedding and events venue.
Our knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to offer guided tours, or you can explore at your leisure.

The Odell Village Fete and Family Dog Show is a traditional rural community event in North Bedfordshire. It's held every year in the Fete Field on Horsefair Lane, between a picturesque stone and thatch pub, The Bell, and Harrold-Odell Country Park, making for the perfect family day out. It's a day of fun, laughter, and local tradition, bringing our community together. Adult entry: £2:50, Kids: FREE! We have many classic stalls and attractions. The money raised goes towards supporting village facilities, such as the Village Hall and the 15th Century Church, as well as groups that meet in the Village Hall, e.g. the Gardening Club and W.I.

Attracting over 15,000 visitors each year, the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society aims to give an insight into the country life at the turn of the 20th Century when steam was in its hey day. Many working demonstrations are taking place wherever you may care to roam on the 400 acre site.
For the complete day out visit the beer garden, listen to the band and watch the Stage Show. Stay into Saturday evening and end your day marveling at the magnificent... Read more
